Mom Leaves Sleeping Son At Home. Then He Wakes Up And Hears Two Intruders Say ‘Go Back To Bed’

Adrienne Short was forced to leave her 10-year-old son Ajaiden Powell at home alone with his sister when it was time to leave for work. The situation was not ideal, but there was a babysitter on the way to the house.

Somehow, in the short time in between, two intruders used a crowbar to force their way inside. The gun-wielding criminals stormed into Ajaiden's room and starting taking belongings, including his prized PlayStation 4.

The intruders, seeing that he was awake, pointed a gun at him and told him to go back to sleep. The 10-year-old obeyed, but only until they left.

As soon as the two men were out of the house, he calmly called 911. Despite his age, dispatchers and police were impressed with how many details he was able to recall.

Though the men had been wearing masks, one had briefly lifted his up to reveal his face. From this brief image, Ajaiden was able to paint an accurate portrayal of the man, telling cops about everything from his scruff to various facial features.

In no time, Akron, Ohio, police were able to catch the intruders just blocks away from the home. Ajaiden says the trick to catching the perpetrators was taking a "screenshot" with his mind!

As for his mom, she's extremely relieved that he's safe but also proud of how smart the little boy is!
