Veteran Loses Car And Walks 10 Miles To Meetings. Then He Sees A White Car Waiting For Him

Daniel Shaub served in the U.S. Air Force for six and a half years. The proud veteran returned home and began working a normal job.

Things were going well until his car broke down and he was forced to walk everywhere he needed to go.

Daniel began walking 1.6 miles to work and 1.6 miles home every day because of his unfortunate situation. The poor veteran had to walk a whole 10 miles just so he could attend a work meeting.

One day, a reporter and a generous elderly woman changed everything for him.

Barbara Stevens took her car in to be serviced and asked how she could donate or sell her vehicle.

The car dealership works closely with a nonprofit called Mt. Carmel Center of Excellence in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They reached out to the Pueblo, Colorado, workforce to find the perfect candidate for the car donation: Daniel Shaub.

In the video below, posted on February 10, 2017, Daniel is interviewed by a news reporter and explains, "I was in for six and a half years basically, did a bunch of cool tours, did a bunch of awful tours."

Little does Daniel know, this reporter has a special surprise from Barbara waiting nearby.
