Music is one of the few forces that has the power to bring people together, no matter who we are or where we come from.
Just check out this 101-year-old grandma, for example, who starts to move like she's half her age when this particular song comes on. Or how about this dog, who has some mad skills on the piano? Impressive!
In the video below, posted on February 9, 2017, a man is playing his accordion near an open field. As he stands outside and plays the tunes he seems to know so well, a distant herd of cows is minding their own business — but they suddenly stop dead in their tracks at what they're hearing.
The accordion player notices he's grabbed the animals' attention and continues to play his song — much louder than before to make sure he keeps their interest. And boy, does he!
The cows start to move in the direction of the music, lured in like they're in a trance, with their cowbells jingling along the way. And as the bells get louder and louder, the man knows he's reeling them in for a show.
The creatures walk right up to where the accordion player is standing, with only a fence standing in the way of making direct contact. But the barrier doesn't stop the cows from listening — as a matter of fact, they all line up next to each other and gather for the love of listening to music.
If this video isn't proof that music appeals to all living creatures, I don't know what is! But you'll have to watch it to find out for yourself.
