Hunters Try To Help Doe Stuck Between 2 Trees, Then One Of Them Pulls Out An Ax

In Oregon, a group of hunters recently became heroes.

On November 7, 2016, the group was on a drive for a hunting trip when suddenly the vehicle before them on the road came to an abrupt stop.

One of the hunters saw that the driver of the car was pointing an arm outside the window, toward the hill just off the road.

And just as the man turned to see where the driver was pointing, he missed the moment a large deer escaped into the woods by the hill.

The hunter's dad, curious, got out of the car and followed after the deer, with the rest of the group following behind him.

It didn't take them long, following the deer's path, to find the source of the commotion.

There was a doe, struggling to free herself from being trapped between two trees.

She was completely stuck, right down the middle of her body.

The hunter assumed that the larger deer had somehow chased the doe and pushed her into her predicament before escaping.

But instead of leaving the doe to her fate and going on with their trip, the group of hunters decided to help.

They tried splitting the trees far apart enough for her to squirm out, but it didn't work.

And that's when the hatchet came out.
