Mom Notices Toddler Son Turning Blue In Restaurant, Then A Stranger Snatches Him From Her Arms

A night out for a mom and her toddler at a restaurant in Perryville, Missouri, nearly turned into a nightmare. Instead, as you will see in the video below, a nurse became a hero.

Misty Taylor was with her 17-month-old son and some friends, celebrating a going-away party at a restaurant.

The evening was going well, when suddenly Taylor's son began to cough.

"He started coughing and he seemed to be doing fine and then he took a deep breath in and lodged whatever it was in his throat," she recalled.

It was then that the poor boy began to turn blue, and no matter what Taylor tried, she found that nothing she did was helping.

She began to yell for help.

"I got up and screamed for help and gave him to the first person who took him from me."

That person was Nicole Sullins.

Sullins snatched the toddler out of Taylor's hands and, upon realizing that she recognized the mom, pushed her out of the way so she could try and save the boy.

Sullins' and Taylor's kids go to the same school together.

"He was blue. He's too little to do the Heimlich," Sullins said. "I did back blows and it worked. I had to do it eight to 10 times but it came out.” The little boy is fine after the scare.

Truly a hero, in the right place at the right time!

"I cried and I hugged her and I just didn’t want to let her go," said Taylor, thankful.
