Brandi Lovato was a mom of two with a very special story to tell.
She had fought a battle that no woman ever wants to face: breast cancer. Throughout her entire journey, she never left work, never gave up, and most importantly, never lost her spirit.
Soon enough, Brandi had overcome her illness and was declared a survivor. Because of what she went through, the ambitious wife and mother vowed to give back.
She started funding breast cancer treatments for women who were unable to afford them. Not only was she changing perspectives, she was also changing lives.
In the video below, posted on October 3, 2016, Brandi enters her home with her husband, expecting to have a quiet night after returning from an appointment. She is quickly led through the house into her living room by her sister-in-law, who is conveniently wearing a pink-ribbon T-shirt.
Brandi is greeted by a young woman whom she never expected to see in her home. Once the woman begins to speak, she realizes that her husband, friends, and family had set her up.
The woman is actually a nurse. She talks about what Brandi's fight and generous personality have done for her. The hospital nurse says, "Keep going, don't ever give up. Thank you for sharing the faith and inspiration through it all."
Brandi then learns that the nurse has a very unexpected surprise for her.
