You never know what someone is going through. Sometimes a small gesture of kindness is no big deal to you. In fact, if you're a decent person, it probably seems like common courtesy.
However, some aren't as lucky; for some folks, courtesy is too infrequent. One woman's quick reaction touched a stranger in a way she never imagined.
Although the woman chose to remain anonymous, WYFF reported the lovely story she shared.
The woman was sitting at IHOP waiting on food with her family. Suddenly, another couple and their son with disabilities walked in.
The son had a runny nose and his mom asked the server for a napkin, but the woman who was waiting for her food noticed. She swooped in and handed the boy a tissue, not thinking too much about it.
Later on, something amazing happened.
"The little boy got into his mother's purse and something landed on the floor. Without hesitation my boyfriend picked it up. As we went to pay, that sweet couple paid for our food. That shows there are still great people in this world!" the woman told WYFF.
The mother decided to pay for the woman and her boyfriend's meal all because they took the time to give her son a napkin and pick up a few spilled items.
