Many people agree that modeling industry standards for women are unrealistic in terms of size. Many people like you and me may feel inadequate or even ugly because we don't look like the women in magazines or on billboards. But one model isn't letting the industry define who she is.
Charli Howard is fighting back after her modeling agency fired her for being "too big" and "out of shape." The size 6 model then took to social media to hit back, posting a very revealing selfie to prove to everyone that, no matter what is said about her body, she loves it and wouldn't change it for anything! Charli says that all women should love their natural shape and size, even if it's not what institutions expect of women.
She says, "You don't have to be skinny to be beautiful!"

Charli Howard was fired from her modeling agency because the size 6 model was considered to be "too big" and "out of shape" by industry standards.
Many people, including Charli, think this is absurd.
The model responded to the criticism by posting a revealing selfie to show the world just how much she loves and appreciates her natural form.
Charli continues to support and empower women of all shapes and sizes through the All Woman Project.
Now, many people are supporting her too, believing that women shouldn't be criticized for being of a healthy weight and size.
