Soldier’s Wife Is On Live TV, But His Friend’s Truck Pulls Up The Driveway During The Interview

Staff Sergeant Dylan Eberhart, an Army soldier of over 12 years, served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He married his girlfriend Jenna on June 1, 2015 — and then just one hour after they said "I do," Dylan boarded a plane to Africa.

Longing to reunite with his new bride, Dylan decided that when it was finally time to come back home to Elkhart County, Indiana, he wanted to make it extra special.

Dylan received his return date, but told his family he was coming home one day later than he actually planned. His good friend and fellow serviceman National Guardsman Bryan Obando was more than happy to help him pull it off.

Bryan picked Dylan up from the airport. Together, they drove back to Dylan and Jenna's house.

Meanwhile, Jenna was being interviewed by her local news station and preparing the home for her husband's return, which she thought was the following day.

Suddenly, Jenna heard a man's voice coming through the front door.

"How ya doing?" said the voice on-air.

Jenna's jaw dropped. "Oh my god," she said, realizing what was happening — and in front of the viewers at home, no less.
