Though many people focus primarily on dogs' friendliness, there's no denying that dogs are also amazingly determined creatures.
They're so loyal and hyper focused on what's important to them. Sometimes I wonder if they even know how to get doubtful or discouraged.
Look at any shelter or rescue animal and this will become apparent — dogs can go through incredible amounts of adversity and struggle but they manage to survive, usually with a big grin on their face.
There are also much lighter examples of doggy determination — have you ever seen the crazy persistence of a pooch playing fetch?
Dogs will do anything to get that which they most desire into their jowls, just look at this furry baby trying to get a ball with his medical cone on.
Another thing that dogs refuse to give up on is pieces of food, big and small — something that the pooch in this clip clearly proves.
Desperately reaching for a teeny tiny piece of popcorn stuck between a coffee table, he scratches, stretches, and contorts to try and grab it, though it is just out of his grasp!
