If you're a dog owner, you know that you worry about your dogs just as much as you worry about your kids.
They're a part of your family, and as much as we love them, they can't speak—so sometimes we might even worry more than we do about our kids.
We never get to hear what our dog's are feeling, so we judge on how they act. And when they're acting sad, we have to find out why right away. For the family below, their dog Duffy happened to start falling ill.
They took Duffy to the vet and they were told that he was losing his sight because of diabetes. Something many people probably wouldn't even know a dog could have, was a serious devastation to this family, too.
Their happy and adorable dog was about to become a blind dog, and even though I'm sure their love for Duffy wouldn't have changed, they wanted to do everything they could to help him through this diagnosis.
So, they started him on medicine, and then he became eligible for a surgery which could have restored his sight—and it did.
Just wait until you see Duffy running in with his eyes open and his heart happy again, I can't imagine how special this moment was for this family.
