Man Leaves Wife In Labor In Car While He Gets Help. By The Time He Gets Back, She’s Giving Birth

There's no predicting when or how fast a baby will come, and a due date given by a doctor is only one possibility for when a mom will actually give birth.

Very often, moms will go into labor earlier or later than predicted, often catching them off guard.

When Natalie Diaz felt that her baby was on the way, she was likely relieved by the thought that the hospital was only 15 minutes away by car. She and her husband headed to the hospital, hoping to get there in time, but just as they entered the parking lot, the mom felt a "huge pressure." She wasn't going to make it inside. She was having this baby in the car!

Her husband ran to get help, leaving his wife in labor and all alone. He managed to flag down a security guard, who ran over to the car with him, but by the time they got there, Natalie was already giving birth.

It wasn't long before a team of nurses showed up to bring the mother and her baby inside. Both are healthy and happy, and these parents now have a fun story to tell all their friends and family, not to mention their child when he's older!
