Animals have an interesting relationship with household appliances.
Depending on what your pets are like, they can either love or loathe different machinery around your house.
My cat was always partial to the space in between our washer/dryer and the wall; I think he would always hide back there because he liked that it was warm and that it rocked back and forth.
However, most animals tend to be scared of things around the house that we take for granted, most notably the vacuum cleaner!
Considering how loud and unpredictable they are to animals, it's no wonder they tend to be spooked — this little golden can't even stand them when they're not making noise.
Surprisingly, we've found one outlier cat who actually who doesn't only tolerate the vacuum cleaner, he enjoys it!
Bobo the cat has apparently been pretty ambivalent about the loud, sucking hose ever since he was a kitten.
When his owner first playfully ran it over his back with the brush attachment, the kitty was a little surprised, then came to love being "vacuumed."
Now it has become somewhat of a toy/spa treatment all mixed into one. He'll even happily roll around while the vacuum brush glides over his cat body.
