Man Heats Glass Until It’s Molten Hot, Then Uses Pliers To Carefully Sculpt Gorgeous Horse

As someone who lacks in artistic ability, I'm always in awe of those who can create beautiful designs — like those from the glassblower working his molten material in the video below.

The glass horse he creates is stunning on its own, but the whole process is absolutely mesmerizing to watch. He prods and pulls at the searing glass while it's still glowing from the heat of the fire.

It reminds me of the many times I've sat around watching one of my best friends — a whiz when it comes to using paint — and feeling endlessly impressed by how she manages to turn an idea from her head into reality.

While it might look effortless when we observe these craftsmen and women, it obviously takes a ton of skill and concentration to create something like the statuette below.

And as impressive as my friend is with her paints, the level of danger can't compete with a glassblower molding scalding-hot material!

The fact that this craftsman is not wearing gloves had me on edge each time he went back in with the pliers to add another detail. It's a good thing he knew exactly what he was doing.

Check out the video below to see how this lovely glass horse is produced, and let us know what you think in the comments.

And be sure to SHARE the awesome craftsman with your friends!
