Weatherman Points At Map But Has No Idea About Green Screen Error Right Behind Him On Live TV

You pretty much know what to expect when you turn on the news and tune in to the weather segment. Usually, there's a weatherman or woman detailing relevant weather patterns in your area, then there's usually a rundown of the forecast for the coming week.

The last thing you expect is to see someone yawning very deeply on the screen.

Imagine that while you're waiting to see if it will rain the next day!

Unlikely though it may seem, that's exactly what occurred during the weather segment of the KWCH news station.

Weatherman and Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen was busy providing details of a storm passing through Wichita, Kansas, via a Doppler radar.

As many of you know, weather maps are usually created using a green screen.

As such, Ross was working with a map that was meant to be ever-changing, but the change it took next was definitely not something anyone expected!

A couple of seconds into the weather segment and suddenly, the screen changed, showing a blown-up, zoomed-in version of KWCH reporter Deedee Sun.

And she was yawning!

If that weren't enough, it took Ross a moment to realize that the screen had changed — he had no idea as he pointed to what he expected was a map!

"Deedee looks a little tired out there, doesn't she?" he asked when he finally noticed, unable to contain his laughter.
