The Crossing School of Business and Entrepreneurship in Plymouth, Indiana, is an alternative high school where Bryan Saint-Louis is the principal.
Ask any of the students and faculty at The Crossing, and Bryan is loved by all. He is the type of principal who would show up at the home of a student to help them with anything they might need.
And so, in the video below, the students and faculty decided to show their principal how much they appreciated him.
Filmed in the classroom of Kirsten Harner at The Crossing, Principal Saint-Louis was busy speaking to a group of students when the unexpected occurred.
"What's that?" Kirsten asked (she had been filming the principal the entire time).
Another Crossing student named Carson walked into the room, holding a dog in his hands.
Carson walked straight to Bryan and placed the dog on the man's lap.
Bryan was completely speechless!
In fact, the students and faculty pitched in, raised $470, and bought the dog for their principal.
The past year, Bryan and his wife had lost their own dog and were trying to get a new one.
The dog, who was named Hugo, got pretty comfortable on the principal's lap, but Bryan was still too speechless to even react!
