Woman Spots A Sparkle On Ground At Concert, Then Realizes It’s A Lost Engagement Diamond

Lisa Steinbring and Ron Riffle recently got engaged. They figured a great way to to celebrate was to attend a concert of one of their favorite bands.

Naturally, Lisa wore her new diamond engagement ring to the concert.

In retrospect, that may not have been the best idea!

The concert was held in a field, and the couple was dancing near the stage. Lisa couldn't pinpoint exactly when it happened, but she imagined that the terrifying moment occurred either during the dance or a short while after.

"I was talking with my hands and I looked down and I said, 'It's gone!'" Lisa said.

Indeed, the familiar shine and glint of the ring was gone. She realized the horror of the situation: The diamond had somehow gotten loose and flown off the ring.

For the next 45 minutes, with help from the crowd around them, they searched for the diamond.

"What seemed like 50 to 100 people with cell phone lights were on the prowl looking," Lisa recalled.

Unfortunately, like trying to find a needle in a haystack, the couple's efforts were fruitless.

They left the concert without the diamond, sure it was gone forever. And then they received a call that changed everything!
