It's a tradition with weddings that the groom pick a few of his best male friends to be his groomsmen, and the bride pick her closest female friends to be her bridesmaids.
Of course, many couples break tradition, and each one makes their half of the wedding party both men and women. There's nothing wrong with that!
But one woman who was trying to pick her bridesmaids realized that she was going to have a little more trouble than most: She didn't have any close female friends!
24-year-old Rebecca Abrantes is an engineering student, specializing in computer engineering. She made many close friends in her classes, and they happened to be men. There were so few females in those engineering classes she took!
Rebecca saw nothing wrong with making them her bridesmaids instead, and called on her "bros" to be part of her wedding party!
She and the five men posed for some pretty hilarious pictures. The men are dressed in pink bathrobes, as typical bridesmaids perhaps would be. They even pretend to be shaving their legs in one very witty photo!
This sounds like one seriously fun bridal party! What matters most is that Rebecca's best friends were there to help her celebrate her marriage — whether they're men or women.
