Single moms and single dads out there know how difficult it can be raising children on their own. Tiheshe Benton, a single mom from Miami, Florida, understands that difficulty all too well.
Tiheshe is a single mom of five children, including her 18-year-old son Emmanuel.
Emmanuel has autism, and is currently being treated for a rare form of cancer.
"You see sick people everywhere and you say a prayer, 'Oh, I'm sorry that happened,'" Tiheshe explained, referring to her son's illness. "But when it knocks on your door, it's a totally different feeling."
In order to care for her son, Tiheshe had to stop working. She's also been sleeping on a love seat for more than two years because her family couldn't afford new furniture.
So, some strangers from a local retailer wanted to help out. El Dorado Furniture stopped by the Benton family's house and surprised Tiheshe.
As you'll see in the video below, she's completely speechless! It's only after several moments that she steps aside to dry her eyes from crying.
"Us?" she said in disbelief after learning that the furniture was hers. "I don't know what to say. Thank you."
