It's customary for brides and grooms to give the members of their wedding party special gifts that reflect how thankful they are to have them participate in the wedding in such a special way. Often, these little party favors include a variety of trinkets, but it always takes that special something to make these gifts extra meaningful.
One groom knew exactly what he wanted to give his groomsmen, but took gift-giving a step further when he decided to make custom gift boxes.
While this seems like it would be very difficult, the step-by-step visual aid he provided proves that anyone can give it a shot! With just a regular wooden box, he creates a stunning, personalized, and beautifully made gift that anyone would love.

Don't you want to start making one right away, too?
To build his groomsmen's gift boxes, he starts off with regular oak boxes.
Then, he carefully measures additional wood for the cover.
Although they don't look like much, the boxes will turn into beautiful works of art! They look difficult to make, but with the right equipment, anyone can make them.
After attaching the lids to the boxes, he uses a dark wood stain to give them a rich color.
As for the interior, he cuts out the outline of the gifts in foam, which he places in the box.
Later, after he's sure all the items fit in their slots, he'll cover the foam with burlap.
The groom even added a personalized detail on all of the boxes: the initial of each one of his groomsmen.
The result of this groom's hard work looks like a professional gift box! We're sure the groomsmen will be very pleased by their gifts.
