Elon Musk’s Baby Mama Says Republican Events Are ‘All Debaucherous’ & That Surprised Her

Ashley St. Clair, who is a former MAGA influencer and also the mother of one of Elon Musk’s children, has recently appeared on several podcasts to share what it was like to get swept up in MAGA politics as a young woman. During a recent appearance on the “Fool Me Once” podcast, Ashley spoke about how she got involved in her college’s Young Americans for Liberty and Turning Point chapters, which eventually led to her becoming a right-wing influencer and dropping out of college. Now, as she has stepped away from Republican politics, she’s noticed a huge difference between events attended by Republicans vs. Democrats.

And according to her, the so-called party of family values tends to have way wilder parties.

She said Republican events are actually “all debaucherous.”

Ashley held up a bag of badges from all the events she attended during her MAGA influencing days. There were, of course, a lot. In her experience, Republican events differ a lot from those that are attended and/or led by Democrats, and the way Republicans party does not exactly line up with their rhetoric.

While on the podcast, she said, “I’ve been to my fair share of Republican events, and they are all debaucherous: the drinking, the substances, the sex, the this, the that.”

Meanwhile, other events have seemed a lot more professional.

Since her departure from right-wing influencing, Ashley has started going to other political events that aren’t necessarily left-wing or Democrat-led, but definitely not conservative. “Recently, I’ve started going to different events that are more center or left,” she explained. “I went to the World Forum, which is an event with Hillary Clinton, and I spoke about AI governance and AI architect and regulation, and everyone I met there had a family, (and) was leaving early to go see their kids.”

Apparently, this differed a lot from some of the Turning Point events Ashley attended in the past. “And nobody was like, ‘Hey, you want to hit the club after?’ like it was when I would go to these Republican events,” she recalled. “There was no rave event after, like at Turning Point.”

It sounds like she wasn’t expecting that at all.

Based on Ashley’s description, what she witnessed at the World Forum was so different from the messages she was bombarded with when she was involved in the MAGA movement. “But it was astounding to see that contrast because while you’re in MAGA, you’re told that the left is the side of debauchery and degeneracy and all of this,” she explained. “And then when I’m contrasting both sides with these events that I go to, I was like, ‘I’m still in contact with these people and we’re sending photos of our kids…’ That, to me, I was like (mind blown).”

Ashley made headlines in 2025 when she revealed that she had welcomed a child with Elon.

She alleged that Elon didn’t seem particularly interested in communicating about their child, and claimed that he had only seen the child a handful of times. Then, when Ashley’s politics shifted and she apologized for the transphobic comments she had made in the past, Elon suddenly took an interest in parenting.

On social media, Ashley wrote that she felt “immense guilt” over her transphobic rhetoric. “And even more guilt that things I have said in the past may have caused my son’s sister (Elon’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson) more pain,” she added. She said she was committed to educating herself and being a better advocate. Meanwhile, Elon claimed that he would file for custody of their child… because Ashley is no longer transphobic? “I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition a one-year-old boy,” he wrote on X.
