Britney Spears has reportedly had yet another run-in with law enforcement after the 41-year-old singer was pulled over by California Highway Patrol for driving without a license or insurance.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast and reported Tuesday, Spears was pulled over on Sept. 10 and cited for “failure to provide a peace officer evidence of financial responsibility.” She now has a scheduled court appearance on Oct. 24, at which point she must also pay a $1,140 fine.
Her highly anticipated memoir, “The Woman In Me,” is also scheduled for release that day.
The latest interaction involving automobiles and law enforcement follows the “Toxic” singer being busted last year for driving at an “unsafe speed for prevailing conditions.” However, court records obtained by NBC News did not provide details of where Spears was driving, the conditions or at what speed she was going during the March 10, 2022 incident.
As part of her near previous 13-year conservatorship, which was terminated in 2021, Spears was not permitted to drive. She previously testified that boyfriend-turned-fiancé Sam Asghari was also not allowed to drive her anywhere.
Asghari, 29, filed for divorce for the former chart-topper in August, citing “irreconcilable differences” after just 14 months of marriage.
