Bunnie Xo’s Post-Divorce Spending Spree Has Fans Asking If She’s Really OK

Bunnie Xo has been sharing a lot of updates on social media in the aftermath of her divorce from Jelly Roll. On the surface, it looks like Bunnie is prioritizing herself, having fun, and trying to live her best life amid a major life change. Good for her! A lot of fans are happy to see her enjoying her life and focusing on herself again.

But others are worried that Bunnie has been sharing all of these exciting updates to cover up how much she’s actually struggling.

In one of her recent posts, Bunnie flaunted her lavish lifestyle.

It seems like she’s been splurging after her divorce, as a July 29 photo dump revealed that she purchased a $500K Rolls-Royce. Her slideshow also included several videos from fun nights out in Los Angeles, along with photos of her relaxing on a patio.

But to some fans, the fact that Bunnie has been going out a lot and having fun doesn’t necessarily mean she’s doing well. They actually think it could mean the opposite; perhaps she’s been posting so much to make it look like she’s having fun and coping well.

“Are you posting all of these videos that make everybody seem like you’re happy and great after the divorce?” one person questioned in the comments on Instagram. “It’s okay you can be sad and heartbroken.”

“Am I the only one that sees the hurt in these pictures and videos?” someone else commented. “It’s okay to be hurt Bunnie.”

While some people think Bunnie looks hurt, others have accused her of moving on too fast.

She can’t win, it seems. There are people who remain convinced that Bunnie is avoiding her pain. And then there are also people who think she’s too happy, given that she just got divorced.

The fact that Bunnie is seemingly prioritizing some of the things that bring her joy has some people convinced that she’s totally unfazed by the split. In the comments, someone noted that Bunnie “doesn’t seem too sad for going through a divorce.”

However, some of Bunnie’s fans defended her. After all, she’s allowed to have fun (even if she is hurting) and she doesn’t have to act sad on social media to prove that the divorce impacted her. “Wow. How dare you be happy and enjoy your life after a divorce,” someone wrote sarcastically, clearly bothered by Bunnie’s critics. “…How DARE you thrive and look good and feel good and move forward instead of dwelling in the past.”

Bunnie has said she doesn’t want to be known as a sad divorced woman.

There is more to her than that, she explained on an episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast.

“I don’t want the divorce to become my entire personality,” she explained, adding that she has no desire to “be the poster child for divorce.”

On the same episode, she also said that it might seem like she’s moved on quickly because she’s actually been processing the end of her marriage for much longer than people realize. And, at times, she was really struggling. However, she didn’t publicly broadcast everything she was going through when she was at her worst.

“When people see me out having fun and just living my best life, I can see where they would be like, ‘Wow, they just announced the divorce,'” she said. “But really, you guys have to understand I have been sitting in purgatory…for two and a half months in my studio house.”

In another post, Bunnie said she’s in her “healing era.”

In spite of the negative comments, she shared another update on July 31. The video she posted showed her dancing in the club to a Taylor Swift song. “You kno she’s in her healing era when she’s screaming Tswift in da club,” she wrote over the clip. She captioned the post with, “Let her live 💫”

Some people still had their doubts and felt compelled to voice them in the comments. “Ok, but I know there’s def waves of sadness in between,” someone commented. “And that’s ok too.”

Another commenter said, “Idk if thats healing or on a path to self destruction… They look the same at first. A few more months will tell lol.” Bunnie responded to this one directly, writing, “y’all just really hate seeing a woman step back into her power & THRIVE happily.”
