Caitlyn Jenner Called Out For Saying Donald Trump Is Actually An ‘Amazing’ & ‘Kind’ Person

People are struggling to understand the comments Caitlyn Jenner made about President Donald Trump during a recent podcast appearance. While speaking on “Tomi Lahren Is Fearless,” Caitlyn said she “really appreciates” what Trump is doing, which certainly raises lots of questions and is even more confusing to people, given that Caitlyn is a trans woman.

Caitlyn is a longtime Republican, so her right-wing views are nothing new. She has been less consistent, however, in her support of Trump. Although she voted for him in 2016, she later revoked her support, writing that Trump “has made trans people into political pawns.” She also said “the trans community is being relentlessly attacked by this president.” But by 2024, she was vocally supporting him again.

Now, she apparently thinks he’s “amazing.”

It’s interesting how, in Caitlyn’s eyes, Trump has gone from “relentlessly” attacking trans people to being an “amazing, kind person.” When speaking to Tomi, she said, “He’s, I think, an amazing, kind person. And maybe the world doesn’t see that all the time.”

She continued, “But I really appreciate the guy and what he’s doing. And thank God at least we got somebody in there that’s trying to save our country and the world.”

On social media, people had questions.

Reacting to a clip of Caitlyn praising Trump on X, some people questioned whether Caitlyn understood that the president clearly does not support trans rights. “Trump doesn’t even like transgender people!! Why support him?!?!” one person questioned. People also wondered why she was on Tomi’s podcast in the first place. “If Caitlyn Jenner was a Democrat, Tomi Lahren would be leading the hate campaign against her,” someone argued. “Do you really hate trans people, or do you only hate them if they are blue pilled?”

Critics called Caitlyn “spineless,” “pathetic,” and “a sellout” for supporting Trump in spite of his attacks on the LGBTQ community. “She has turned her back on the LGBT community that supported her,” one person pointed out.

While many argued that Caitlyn must be “stupid” if she really thinks supporting Trump is a good idea, others were of the opinion that Caitlyn’s wealth has something to do with it.

A commenter said, “She knows, but the exception to the rule to them is- if I vote republican and I am wealthy, I am accepted in elite circles, all while voting to restrict the poors choices.” Someone else said, “Money is literally a get out of jail free card.”

In 2024, Caitlyn referred to Trump as “a longtime friend” and “a class act.”

Although she previously rescinded her support, she made her admiration for Trump extremely apparent in 2024 through multiple social media posts. In May 2024, she wrote, “I STAND WITH @realdonaldtrump a long time friend, class act, strong beyond belief, loyal, and extraordinarily selfless. I was at the first inauguration and I cannot wait to be at your next inauguration (which we know you’ll have bc you secured re-election today)!”

And in November of that year, she shared a photo that showed her posing alongside Trump, Elon Musk, and Trump’s granddaughter Kai Trump. “Hope is back in America,” she declared. “These two men will single-handedly save western civilization and that starts with a strong United States of America. I am here and at your service and forever indebted to your sacrifice for this country. Let’s Make America Great Again!” That post also sparked a ton of backlash, with one person writing, “They don’t even like you!”
