Carys, the daughter of Catherine and actor Michael Douglas, shared a series of images from her 21st birthday celebration on Instagram. The dress she wore was a pink slip dress with lace. Many fans noticed the striking resemblance between Carys and her mom, who is now 54 years old.
Carys' even styled her hair in a way that resembled her mom's 1999 red carpet look, and accessorized with small hoop earrings.
"The most perfect 21st I could ask for ! ," she captioned her post.
Her mom commented on the post, writing, "You deserve it sweetheart ❤️." Carys' followers noticed that she was wearing the same dress that her mom wore 25 years ago.
Catherine also shared her own photos on Instagram in celebration of her daughter's birthday. "Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter @carys.douglas You are the joy of my life," she wrote.
