Chip and Joanna Gaines may have left their Fixer Upper days behind them, but that doesn't mean they're done renovating homes. The Waco, Texas-based couple continues to renovate, flip, and even build new homes in and around their neighborhood. Their newest listing with their realty company, Magnolia Realty, is a beautiful example of the work they can do.
The home is new build with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. It's located in China Spring, just 20 minutes outside of Waco. The house is 3,150 square feet. The rustic feeling is palpable in the farmhouse, which feels more like a farm home thanks to Joanna's touch. There are wooden beams on the ceiling, built-in bookcases, and a fireplace. And of course, there's plenty of shiplap.
The home sits on just under half an acre of land and includes some awesome options for outdoor entertainment. The large outdoor patio is covered, so you can enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather. It also features a built-in grill, which is perfect for barbecuing with friends and family. It's the exact kind of home you'd expect the power couple to create. Take a closer look at Joanna and Chip's latest masterpiece!
It's been a while since we've been treated to a good old-fashioned Fixer Upper reveal. Luckily, Joanna and Chip's latest project is here to show us they haven't lost their touch.
They recently listed this new build with their realty company, Magnolia Realty. The home — featuring four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms —has been designed as a modern farmhouse with a neutral palette.
The landscaping around the home complements the farmhouse feel. The space is very open and airy, both indoors and outdoors.
Large wooden windows create lots of light in the home. The French oak floors are exquisite.
Wooden beams lend to the rustic vibe that resonates throughout the home. Small features, such as energy-efficient lighting, bring modernity to the space.
The far side of the kitchen features a wood-burning fireplace. There is also a good deal of built-in storage throughout the home, such as the shelves seen here.
Central air and central heating ensure that the home is always a cozy temperature. Spray home insulation makes sure that air is not getting in or out around those big, beautiful wooden double-paned windows and doors.
The counters in the home are Carrara marble vanity tops, and the appliances used are all top of the line.
The kitchen appliances include a built-in dishwasher, built-in oven, and beautifully distressed vent hood. Imagine cooking breakfast for your family in here!
The laundry room will make you actually want to tackle those piles of clothes. Built-in shelving and space to wash and fold add a nice touch.
At least one of the four bathrooms feature his-and-hers sinks. The tiled tub looks like the perfect place to soak after a long day.
The large outdoor patio area is covered, so you can enjoy some fresh air and take in the sights year-round. The home sits on a little under half an acre of land.
Fans are blown away by the beauty of this home. Not everyone can move to Waco, so lots of fans were asking if Joanna would ever consider selling plans to the homes she builds and designs.
Most people just wish that Joanna could help them out. She's not quite done beautifying Texas, but fans are hopeful that she'll branch out nationally some day.
