Donald Trump Ripped For Golfing As Another American Dies In War With Iran: ‘What A Pig’

Donald Trump spent some time golfing on Sunday, and under normal circumstances that would not be a surprise.

The President loves the game, and he ran up quite the tab at the taxpayers’ expense last year. But, on a day when the United States announced that a seventh servicemember had been killed in the Middle East, this time in an Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia, the timing didn’t sit well with some.

Toss in the fact that Trump wore the same white USA hat to golf in that he drew criticism for not removing during Saturday’s dignified transfer for the first six military members killed in the Middle East, and things are not going well for the President on social media.

White House correspondent Hugo Lowell shared a photo of the President golfing and folks took things from there.

“A 7th American soldier is now dead,” Gavin Newsom’s official press account on X posted. “But don’t worry, Donald Trump is golfing.”

“When you golf hat and your dignified transfer hat are the same,” JoJoFromJerz wrote on X. “Wearing the same hat he wore to disrespect the fallen soldiers,’ Debbie Lee wrote on X. “What a pig.”

One person simply shared a meme of Trump teeing off from atop a flag-draped coffin. Another share a meme of Trump teeing off in front of soldiers carrying a flag-draped coffin with the words, “That’s the way it is,” referencing the President’s words on the war with Iran.

“7th American soldier Died in #IranWar and #Trump is playing Golf,” Adil wrote on X.

“Geez, I wonder how much this costs American taxpayers,’ 3reecrossing wrote on X. “While the world is on fire, this madman has so much time on his hand that he can go golfing. Where are the Trump supporters now? Where is the outrage? I promise these Trump supporters will see their daddy doing this while the world’s on fire and say, well, it’s not as bad as Joe Biden or some other Democrat.”

“Maybe it’s me but I wouldn’t be doing this as our soldiers are in harms way,” Penolope wrote.

“That is how much he cares about both American service personnel and civilians,” Spiekaroonie wrote on X. “Some of us are rising our lives and some of us are struggling to feed our families because of him and his policies. So he goes and plays golf.”

Trump has yet to respond to the criticism.
