85-Year-Old Actress Starts OnlyFans Account Because ‘Life’s Too Short’

Donna Mills plans on connecting with her fans in a new and unexpected way: by sharing content on OnlyFans. The 85-year-old Knots Landing actress recently announced that she’s launching an OnlyFans because she wants a “more personal and direct connection” with fans than traditional social media platforms can offer, per Variety.

“I’ve always appreciated the incredible support and encouragement I’ve received from my fans over the years,” she said in a statement shared with the publication. “Social media has been a wonderful way to stay connected, but I’m excited to join OnlyFans because it offers the opportunity for a more personal and direct connection.”

She’s not concerned about being older than other content creators.

She’s ready to embrace what’s trending, even if it seems a bit unconventional. In a statement shared with Page Six, Donna said, “I’ve been in this business over 50 years…I’ve seen every trend come and go. When something new comes along that lets me talk directly to the people who’ve stuck with me since ‘Knots Landing,’ why wouldn’t I jump in? My fans are going to see the real me: the good hair days, the bad hair days, and everything in between.”

It sounds like a decent number of people have asked Donna why she’s doing this, but her response is essentially, “Why not?”

“People keep asking me why now,” she said. “Why not now? Life’s too short to sit on the sidelines. My fans have given me everything, and this is my way of letting them in a little closer.”

Her plan is to share behind-the-scenes moments with her fans.

When announcing the decision via Variety, Donna hinted at the type of content she plans on sharing on the platform. OnlyFans is best known as a place to share adult content. However, it’s not exclusively used for that purpose. Not everything shared via OnlyFans is sexualized.

Donna didn’t get super specific when talking about the content she plans to share, but she did reveal that she will be “sharing moments from my daily life, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and engaging with fans in a more meaningful way.”

Donna is already active on other platforms.

On Instagram, she frequently shares throwbacks and reflects on experiences from earlier in her career. She also creates a decent number of humorous Instagram Reels. Earlier this year, a video she created in response to a negative comment went viral and made headlines.

The critical comment read, “You wear too much makeup for your age.” In response, Donna said, “I guess I didn’t get the memo.” She added that she’s actually “not sorry” about it and told her followers, “I like the way I look. This is my style, and style doesn’t have an expiration date.”

Clearly, Donna is not afraid to be herself and push boundaries. Her manager, Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators INC, said in a statement shared with Variety that her decision to launch an OnlyFans is “about giving her longtime fans more access to the personality, style and behind-the-scenes moments they already love.”

Bachman added, “Donna has always been fearless and ahead of her time. She told me, ‘YOLO — let’s do it,’ and that perfectly captures her attitude. She is approaching OnlyFans on her own terms and creating a space that feels authentic, personal and completely true to her.”
