Fox News Picks The ‘Most Random’ Traveler And People Aren’t Falling For It

Fox News tried to do a man-on-the-street style interview with a “random” passerby at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, but no one is falling for it. Clearly, we’re meant to believe that the network just so happened to talk to a traveler who supports President Donald Trump and his decision to deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at airports across the country. However, the shirt this “random” traveler was wearing makes it pretty clear that she was not randomly selected.

The traveler said she’s “glad” to see ICE at the airport.

In a clip circulating on social media, a Fox News reporter asked the traveler how long she had been waiting in line at the airport amid the partial government shutdown that has left Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers working without pay for over a month.

“We have been in line since 5:30 this morning,” the traveler responded. “We drove up to Atlanta from south Georgia. We left at about 3 o’clock this morning.” She then added, “Congress needs to get to work, get it done. The American people don’t deserve this. TSA needs to get paid. This is ridiculous.”

The reporter also asked her about Trump’s decision to send ICE agents to the airport to help. “I’m glad to see ’em here,” she said.

Online, people quickly noticed that she appeared to be wearing a Charlie Kirk T-shirt.

Because nothing says “objective” like approaching someone in a MAGA-aligned shirt. The traveler sported a white T-shirt that read, “Freedom.” It’s not clear if she was wearing official Turning Point USA merchandise, but the right-wing organization definitely sells shirts with the same design. Most of the reactions to this on social media were extremely sarcastic.

“Yeah go to the person wearing a Charlie Kirk shirt.🤣🤣🤣” one X user wrote after seeing the clip. And someone else said, “Oh weird! The person in the Charlie Kirk shirt who they just happened to interview out of thousands of folks just so happens to agree with Trump? Talk about coincidence!”

Another person added, “Wow, what a random person they happened to walk up to. And wearing a Charlie Kirk shirt, no less! I’m sure they didn’t seek out someone who would say what they wanted them to say.” Still, some people questioned how Fox News actually managed to find someone wearing a TPUSA shirt.

Others also wondered why she’d been in line for so long if ICE’s presence was making a difference. “If ICE agents are there why isn’t anything improving for her?” someone asked. “A Charlie Kirk fan being interviewed in what appears to be a very long line, the likes of which said ICE workers were supposedly put there to alleviate with their presence….yup, case closed, definitely working,” another person added.

People also noticed someone else in the background.

Throughout the interview, another traveler in a blue T-shirt was standing behind the traveler in the “Freedom” shirt trying not to laugh. “She’s about to bust out laughing at this staged ‘interview,'” one X user noticed.

“Girl in the background is calling out the BS at 30-sec mark,” someone else noted. “The young lady in the back represents how this entire country views MAGA,” another person added.
