Gwen Stefani Is Allegedly Miserable On Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma Ranch And He’s Not Taking It Well

Rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s marriage have been circulating for years now, and many of them have centered on the idea that they are fundamentally different people. While both Gwen and Blake have denied the divorce rumors in the past, a new report suggests that their lifestyle differences could truly pose an issue for them.

Gwen and Blake are both touring musicians, but it sounds like their preferred ways of spending their downtime are quite different.

Gwen would reportedly rather be on tour than live in Oklahoma with her husband.

Gwen’s country singer husband likes living a quiet life on the farm when he’s not on tour. But according to In Touch Weekly, Gwen finds this way of life pretty uninspiring.

The couple spends the bulk of their time at their ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Oklahoma is Blake’s home state, but Gwen is from California. Based on the new report, it sounds like she misses her life there at times.

“It’s like Groundhog Day for Gwen right now, watching Blake tootling around on his tractor … tending to his crops and hiking all around the ranch until the sun sets,” an insider told the publication.

Apparently, Gwen is getting bored.

Perhaps not of her husband specifically, but of farm life. The In Touch source mentioned that Blake seems happier when he’s working on the farm, but Gwen is allegedly much less enthused. “On the plus side, he’s happy and getting healthy from all this outdoor activity, but it’s no fun for Gwen,” the insider claimed. “Truth be told, she’s finding it monotonous and would be far happier back in L.A.”

The source went on to allege that Blake has been bothered by this because he had always been transparent about his lifestyle preferences. “He says this is the version of himself that Gwen knew fine well she was getting and the only way he can be the best version of himself is to live the life he knows and lives,” they explained, adding that “it’s been this elephant in the room for these two ever since they started dating.”

Back in 2025, fans noticed that Gwen and Blake did not appear to be spending as much time together. At the time, a source told Star that they both seemed genuinely busy. However, the same insider suggested that there could still be some tension in their relationship as well.

“Truth be told, they’re both so different and it’s starting to become more apparent now,” they alleged. “There’s a real fear that the way things are headed, Blake and Gwen could wind up becoming another Hollywood divorce casualty, even though it’s the last thing either of them would want.”

Earlier this year, Blake seemed excited about the “hard work” he and Gwen were doing at their ranch.

In March, he took to Instagram to share an update with his fans. “Hey guys, it’s Blake Shelton coming at you from Oklahoma. Getting close to springtime,” he said. He then showed a section of their farm and announced, “This year, we decided we’re gonna do some actual, real professional gardening—farming-type stuff out here.”

He didn’t make it sound like a solo project in any way. “Me and my wife, her name’s Gwen,” he continued, showing an old photo of his wife. “We were out here putting this plastic out yesterday, just she and I, nobody else. It sucked. It’s hard work, but we’re going to plant vegetables in here.”

Maybe Gwen really does find farm life a bit mundane. It’s certainly not for everyone. But that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s ready to leave her husband and Oklahoma life behind.
