Gwen Stefani isn't messing around with the divorce rumors that have been circulating the internet lately. In an interview with Nylon magazine published on April 9, 2024, the 54-year-old singer/songwriter opened up about her marriage to Blake Shelton — and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. "It’s just lies," she said.
"The truth is the truth, and we know what that is." She went on to share that they're not letting the rumors affect them. "When you're in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us," the "Just a Girl" singer said. "You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship — I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something."
She went on to open up about how she still deals with insecurities and overthinking, though. "In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what's happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen," she confessed.
Those insecurities, however, did make way for something beautiful. The couple's recent duet "Purple Irises" came along. "I had been going through those times where you're questioning: 'Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?'" Gwen said. "I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid."
