Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is sharing some details about a major change in her life. Gypsy-Rose, 33, has made several changes to her appearance since her release from prison in December 2023. She served eight years behind bars for her part in the murder of her mother. In addition to getting a nose job, coloring her hair and getting a new back tattoo, Gypsy-Rose debuted her dental transformation in April. On October 21, 2024, she and Peppermint Sage Dental shared some before-and-after photos on Instagram.
The Instagram video shared by both Gypsy-Rose and Peppermint Sage Dental includes images of her missing and silver-capped teeth prior to the cosmetic procedure. The dramatic before-and-after images capture the stark difference between how her smile looked before the unspecified procedure and how it looks now.
Gypsy-Rose saw the transformation as a major “glow up” and thanked Peppermint Sage Dental for working on her teeth.
“I can not thank you enough for the best glow up I could ever dream of 💗,” she commented on the Instagram post. In the caption, Peppermint Sage Dental also thanked Gypsy-Rose.

“Thank you @gypsyrose.ig for trusting us to enhance your smile. We wish you only the best!!” Peppermint Sage Dental captioned the video.
Sources previously told TMZ that Gypsy-Rose had wanted to fix her teeth for a while.
Per People, Gypsy was a victim of factitious disorder imposed on another (FDIA), formerly known as Munchausen by proxy, meaning that her mother acted as though Gypsy-Rose had various illnesses that she did not actually have.
While some outlets, including People, report that Gypsy-Rose had her teeth removed when she was younger because her mom, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, claimed that she was experiencing tooth decay, In Touch Weekly and BuzzFeed reported that Gypsy truly did need to have her teeth removed due to rotting. According to Distractify, Gypsy’s mom’s abuse likely contributed to Gypsy’s tooth decay.
Gypsy’s changes to her appearance are not the only major changes in her life since being released from prison. She is also expecting her first baby with her partner, Ken Urker.
On October 22, Gypsy shared 4D ultrasound images of her baby girl on Instagram. “Meet our beautiful daughter in this stunning 4D/8K image from our recent ultrasound,” she captioned one of the images.
