‘Sister Wives’ Star Christine Brown Shares Intimate Look Into Her Wedding To David Woolley

The wedding of Christine Brown and David Woolley is now being televised in a two-part TLC special, and it's giving an intimate look into the former Sister Wives star and the Utah businessman's special day.

The pair got married on October 7, 2023, in Moab, Utah. They were surrounded by members of their extended families, including Christine's kids, parents, and siblings, David's children and sisters, Janelle Brown and her kids, Leon Brown (the child of Meri Brown), and some members of ex-husband Kody Brown's family.

"In my first marriage with Kody, we had a religious ceremony, and the only people that can go to those are members of the church," Christine shared as she spoke about her joy of her mom being present at her wedding with David. "And my mom wasn't [a member]. Yeah, I'm glad that she's gonna be a part of this time though."

Kody, Robyn, and Meri Brown were not invited to the wedding. However, they sent the couple well wishes during the Sister Wives wedding special.

“I’m really happy for [Christine]," Meri said. "I know that she’s really just been wanting to find some peace and some happiness for a really long time so I’m really glad that she’s found it."

“I hope Christine gets her great day with her wedding," Kody said of his ex-wife. "So if she’s doing something really wonderful, spectacular, and beautiful and David’s digging on her, good for them."

Christine and David decided not to have a traditional wedding. “David and I decided that we didn’t want to have any titles for maid of honor or best man, you know, anything like that," she said. "What David and I wanted was to be the only ones at the altar with the officiant. We just wanted us on the stage."

"Look, I shared a marriage for a lot of years, OK?" she continued. "I did not want to share that stage with anybody but him." But they still had people in the wedding.

Christine's youngest daughter, Truely Brown, walked the rings down the aisle. Her son, Paedon Brown, walked his mother down the aisle halfway and then handed her off to her dad. David's son-in-law, Corbin, officiated the wedding.

"It was very important for me to have my dad be part of the ceremony because he was there at my first marriage with Kody," Christine said. "He was one of the few people in the room. My dad's sick. He's been sick for about 15 years. He has good days and bad days. And just in case he has a bad day, we're just gonna keep it really simple."
