One couple may have just come up with the best idea of the century, and the internet seems to agree on this one. Anabelle and her fiancé James from Austin, Texas, hilariously added a speeding ticket to their wedding registry so that guests could pay off the $231 fine, and the pair's video on TikTok has gone viral with over 33K views.
"@The Knot can we add the state of Oklahoma to our registry?" the caption read. "Feel free to support James in his down bad era on the knot at Annabelle and James’s Wedding Registry."
In the video, James is seen adding the speeding ticket to the wedding registry in the cash fund section. Anabelle zooms in on him typing, "Please help," in the notes section.
People in the comments absolutely loved the couple's idea.
"This is so good," one person wrote.
"This is [expletive] hysterical," anther person added. "And his groomsmen should pitch in together as a group gift."
