Usually, it’s the women of MAGA whose faces or makeup spark public questions and rumors. But after Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner, was spotted out and photos of that appearance were shared on X, speculation began about whether or not Donald Trump’s son-in-law had some cosmetic work done.
In most cases, it’s never a good idea to speculate or start rumors about someone’s appearance, even if they are in the public eye. And even if they seem to love being in the spotlight. And yes, even if they are part of a family that is, to some Americans, incredibly polarizing. But when it comes to Kushner, users on social media just couldn’t help themselves.

Because Kushner is often seen posed in the same stuff way in photos with Ivanka, he has been called out as a wax statue before. But it was the video on X in September 2026, in which he discusses the Russia-Ukraine conflict, that made people actually suggest, in all seriousness, that Kushner had some kind of procedure done to look different.
In the video, Kushner’s eyebrows barely move, and his forehead displays no signs of wrinkling with any movement. He also has the same facial expression overall the entire time he speaks. And his skin almost looks smoothed out, as if there is a filter over the video. The latter is certainly possible, but users on X weren’t ready to leave it at that.
A user who shared the video on X wrote, “Why did Kushner get a facelift? His face looks literally stretched back. He’s a thin guy in his 40s. If he wants to get rid of lines, he should have gone with Botox. He’s too young for plastic surgery this extreme. He looks terrible.”
Another person likened his face to Play-Doh.
On Reddit, someone admitted that Kushner “creeps” them out due to his “waxen faced and dead eyes.”
“I think it’s what an alien thinks a human looks like,” another person joked in the comments.
It wouldn’t be the first time a member of the Trump family was accused of plastic surgery.
There is such a thing as the Mar-A-Lago face when it comes to those closer to Trump. Maybe Kushner is branching out of his former comfort zone to keep up with the look of Trump’s inner circle. Women close to Trump, like Ivanka, Karoline Leavitt, and Pam Bondi have all been accused of getting the same plastic surgery and filler procedures done to maintain a certain look that women in the Trump Administration tend to have.
Characteristics of the Mar-A-Lago face include Botox, plump lips, big hair, obvious makeup, and maybe even cheek implants. In some cases, the Mar-A-Lago face is giving handsome Squidward, a la SpongeBob SquarePants. According to some, Kushner has given into the apparent compulsion to have that same look.

It’s unlikely that anyone connected to the Trump family would admit that anyone has had plastic surgery or even a needle poke here or there. But, according to celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie, who spoke to Radar Online, there’s a chance that Kushner had Botox. He also suggested that Kushner might have had dermal fillers over the years, which is a quick and easy outpatient treatment that plenty of celebrities have done in place of more invasive plastic surgery.
Motykie has never treated Kushner or any other member of the Trump family, however. If you compare photos or videos of Kushner to the video posted on X, he does look different, though that could be due to lighting, camera quality, or a number of different reasons.
