Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has been arrested for sexual battery.
In an incident dating back to February 2023, Jackson Mahomes reportedly attempted to force a 40-year-old woman to kiss him while he was at her restaurant. Upon booking, Mahomes was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of misdemeanor battery.
The woman in question is the owner of the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge. Mahomes was also filmed pushing a male member of the restaurant's waitstaff.
If convicted, he could face up to 55 months in prison.
Mahomes' lawyer, Brandan Davies, previously claimed his client was not in the wrong. He said, "Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter."
