Joran van der Sloot, the main suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, has been extradited to the United States in connection with the case. His lawyer, Maximo Altez, has revealed that van der Sloot has asked his wife for a divorce so that he can pursue a relationship with another woman.
The woman, Eva Pacohuanaco, has also been accused of smuggling drugs for van der Sloot in the past.
Van der Sloot married Leidy Figueroa in 2014, years after he was sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison for the 2010 murder of Stephany Flores. The pair have an infant daughter together.
Van der Sloot's lawyer has now revealed that his wife is simply just the "most loyal" of several women he dated while in prison. He reportedly has "a bunch of girlfriends" who send him photos.
