Kai And Barron Trump Are Competing In Business While Reportedly Estranged From Each Other’s Families

Both Kai Trump and Barron Trump have been called out for seemingly continuing what many have dubbed the family grift. What’s interesting is that they’ve chosen to sell products that seem very similar to each other, which suggests that there might be some competition between them.

Kai, 19, and Barron, 20, have both launched their own energy drinks, though their approaches are quite different.

Unsurprisingly, Barron is still lying low.

President Donald Trump’s youngest son does not seem to enjoy being in the spotlight as much as Kai does, so although he has technically gotten involved in the energy drink business, he’s not exactly the face of the brand. Per People, he’s one of five partners of the company, which is called SOLLOS Yerba Mate Inc. Apparently, he launched the brand alongside “a group of close friends ages 19-23 who grew up living in South Florida.”

On the brand’s website, SOLLOS is described as “a beverage brand built around the Florida lifestyle, delivering superior taste and plant-based energy to support an active, outdoor lifestyle.”

The brand is currently selling several different merch items, along with a 12 pack of pineapple and coconut yerba mate priced at $39.

Meanwhile, Kai made a 15-minute video about the energy drink she launched.

Kai, who is Donald Trump Jr.’s eldest child, is partnering with Accelerator Active Energy drinks to sell Blue Raz Slush, which she said is inspired by a “childhood love of blue raspberry movie theater slushies.”

In a press release, she said, “We tested so many different versions to make sure the flavor felt authentic to my tastes and something I’d genuinely want to drink every day. Between training, golf, travel, and everything else in my schedule, I’m always looking for products that help me stay energized and focused, and I love that Accelerator fits so naturally into my routine.”

They launched their drinks at the same time, amid reports of family drama.

Since Barron tends to lie low, his family members don’t usually share a whole lot about him either. Kai was asked about her relationship with her 20-year-old uncle during an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast, and she only had positive things to say.

“He’s a great guy,” she said. “He doesn’t like the public eye so much, which I understand.”

But at the same time, some recent family events have sparked rumors about Barron’s relationship with other members of the Trump family. When he celebrated his birthday in March, there were reports that his older siblings were not invited to his party. More recently, Barron and both of his parents skipped Don Jr.’s wedding.

The president said he had “a thing called Iran and other things.” But for Barron, his reason for skipping supposedly had more to do with “emotional distance” between him and his older siblings, an insider told commentator Rob Shuter.

“Barron grew up in a completely different world from Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany,” the source claimed. Which honestly makes sense, given his age. After all, he’s basically the same age as his niece Kai. It’s unclear whether there’s any tension between Kai and Barron at this point, but time will tell now that they’re sort of competitors.
