Just because Karoline Leavitt is married to a boomer, it doesn’t mean she is a boomer just by association, but maybe someone should tell her that. In an interview on Jesse Watters Primetime, Leavitt spoke about Gen Z and how disappointing the entire generation is. Let’s not forget, though, that Leavitt is absolutely a Gen Z girl, since she was born in 1997, the year that the Gen Z generation begins.
For Leavitt, though, apparently, she is so far past being part of that generation that she is fine criticizing people who are her age or close to her age. She is surrounded by old white men, though, so it’s hard to blame her completely. And her indoctrination into the world of politics and supporting aging male politicians began at a young age. It looks like she is just a boomer at heart.
Karoline Leavitt is also Gen Z, so it’s a case of pot meeting kettle.
Leavitt admitted that she knows she is also part of the Gen Z crowd, but that didn’t stop her from laying into the 20-somethings of the world.
“This generation, my generation, I hate to say it, Gen Z and those younger than me have been raised with just silver spoons in their mouths, just getting everything handed to them,” Leavitt said. “That’s not the values this country was built on.”
When Watters suggested, maybe as a joke, maybe not, that these entitled Gen Z-ers should be sent to the front lines to teach them a lesson, Leavitt wasn’t totally opposed.
“Send them to Cuba. Send them to Iran, they’re gonna want to come back real quick,” she said.
But Leavitt is someone who originally found herself in the White House due to a Fox News student assistant job. She also went to the Catholic liberal arts college Saint Anselm College. The school has been criticized for siding with Donald Trump on issues rather than remaining totally impartial for candidates of all parties.
When a user shared details of Leavitt’s interview on X, they wrote, “Karoline Leavitt went to an expensive private high school, then worked in the White House immediately out of college, then married a billionaire her daddy’s age. What kind of spoon is that?”
She agreed that Gen Z kids have everything handed to them.

During the episode, Leavitt agreed “a little bit” that the problem with Gen Z is laziness. She said that “it’s laziness, and it’s the liberal indoctrination.” Ah, OK, so it’s all about liberal Gen Z 20-somethings but not Republican or conservative Gen Z-ers. Got it.
“It was built on meritocracy and hard work, pulling up your sleeves, pulling yourself up from your bootstraps, and achieving the American dream, and we need to protect it with all we’ve got,” Leavitt added, of the United States.
She was called out for her own privilege.
Hey Gen Z… stop being so lazy and marry a wealthy real estate developer that is your dad's age like all the real boot-strappers do! pic.twitter.com/5wE1Sq7ax4

In the comments under the X post about Leavitt appearing on the Fox News show, someone wrote that Leavitt was born with a golden spoon up her you-know-what.
“Both Leavitt and her Gen Z critics enjoy hidden advantages,” a user replied to the X post.
Someone else wrote, digging a bit deeper to really take a dig at the press secretary, “She has zero room to judge others. Imagine being so far out of touch that you have no idea about anything. She has no true friends in her life so when her sugar daddy is gone all she’ll have is her child. Sad.”
