Katie Miller Flips Out Over Pete Davidson Mocking ICE Agents On ‘SNL’

Another one of Katie Miller’s social media rants has gone viral, and this time, it’s about Saturday Night Live. According to her, the sketch comedy show has not been entertaining for years at this point. But there’s reason to think that a very specific sketch triggered this response from Katie, considering she shared a clip of Pete Davidson portraying President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan.

Pete is an SNL alum, but he returned for the show’s cold open on Saturday, January 31. The sketch addressed concerns about Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents’ qualifications and violence. The ICE agents in the skit appeared untrained and quick to act out in aggression, seemingly having little understanding of what’s going on or what they’re meant to be doing. Apparently, Katie was not at all amused.

Katie took to social media to criticize SNL.

The 34-year-old podcaster is married to Stephen Miller, who serves as White House Deputy Chief of Staff. Stephen plays a key role in the Trump administration’s aggressive immigration policies, and has come under fire for comments he made in response to ICE-related shootings in Minnesota. A few days before this episode of SNL aired, CNN reported on Stephen “micromanaging” the Trump administration’s immigration policies. Shortly after, Forbes published a piece about how, because of the role Stephen plays, immigration policy would probably not change if Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was replaced.

So, it’s really not all that surprising that Katie was not laughing at the recent SNL sketch (though she seemingly watched it despite not liking the show). On X, she wrote, “For over a decade, not only hasn’t SNL been funny but it’s been voice of woke corporate leftists and the elite – that’s why these skits have devolved into drivel not comedy.”

Katie also defended ICE agents by calling them “heroes.” She continued, “Now imagine if they actually mocked their globalist overlords instead of bowing to their groupthink. ICE are heroes.”

In response, people bashed Katie’s husband.

Of course, Katie has a decent number of followers who agree with her views. Many of them said SNL is totally unfunny and not worth watching. But others thought the show did a decent job at highlighting the issues and “fighting the good fight.” One critic called ICE agents “cruel” and “untrained,” and reminded Katie that her “vile husband [is] leading the charge.” Another critic wrote, “ICE under this administration is a nightmare and a stain on our nation, mostly due to the incompetence of your husband who no one likes.”

Critics also called Katie out for her “MAGA tears.” One of them said, “Here goes the woke right crying about comedy sketches again. If you don’t want SNL to talk about the evil s— you do…stop doing evil s—.”

Others told Katie that she actually doesn’t need to watch SNL or pay attention to it at all. “If people haven’t laughed at SNL for over a decade, it wouldn’t be on the air,” someone else wrote. “You seem awfully upset about a comedy show that no one expects you to watch.”

In the sketch, the ICE agents seemed aggressive and clueless.

Pete portrayed Tom, who tried to explain things to ICE agents. “My name is Tom Homan. Now, I’m sure a lot of you are wondering why Greg Bovino, the last guy, was dismissed,” he told the ICE agents in the skit. “I want to stress that it wasn’t because he did a bad job, or publicly lied about the shooting of an American citizen, or even — uh-oh! — dressed like a Nazi. It was that he was filmed doing these things. And the president no-likey that.”

He also asked the agents, “When do we use force?” One of the ICE agents in the comedy skit responded, “Right away?”
