The Kelly Clarkson Show is back and coming to you from New York City. On the Halloween episode in 2023, Kelly embraced the holiday by dressing up as a vampire. She found the teeth tricky. Kelly’s guest, Real Housewives star Kyle Richards, got to talking about the downsides of costumes.
Costumes are fun but sometimes uncomfortable. Kyle’s Catwoman costume was skintight, and she worried about it ripping. Kelly recalled a time her pants did rip and the women had a good laugh about it.
Behind-the-scenes video posted on the show’s Instagram shows Kelly telling producers she is not sure about her fangs. "I'm trying to get used to it, but it's, like, a lot," Kelly explained. Kyle understood. "You know what else is a lot? How tight my bodysuit is. I basically feel like I have one big Spanx on from ankle to neck," Kyle stated.
Kelly affirmed that Kyle looked amazing. Kyle admitted she was worried her pants might rip. "So if you hear a loud noise, I will cover myself with a pillow," she joked. Kelly knew all about this type of situation first hand.

Kelly ripped her pants in front of everyone while filming her “Since U Been Gone” music video. It was, of course, super embarrassing. "The director was like, 'Can you go down?'" she recalled. "I was in really tight leather pants. And he was like, 'Go down, and pop back up.' I was like, 'OK, cool! And I went down, and I just, whoop! And I was commando.”
