What to Know
A new billboard for Khloé Kardashian’s Khloud Protein Chips has left many people wondering the same thing: Why is Beyoncé modeling for Khloé’s snack brand? In reality, she isn’t. Khloé is the face of her own campaign. But people had to do a double-take after seeing the billboard because the image of Khloé looked nothing like her and actually looked more like the Crazy in Love singer.
In case you weren’t aware, Khloé launched Khloud last year. When she first started the snack brand, she focused on selling different flavors of protein popcorn, but this month, she has expanded the brand. She is now selling protein chips that come in Sweet Heat, Buffalo, and Nacho flavors.
A billboard promoting the protein chips emphasizes that they contain 7 grams of protein.

And while some people who saw the billboard on social media did have questions about the chips’ nutritional content, others were more interested in the campaign’s model. Yes, the woman holding a protein chip on the billboard is indeed Khloé. But tons of people who reacted to the billboard on social media thought she kind of looked like Beyoncé.
“Before I read the caption I was fully convinced it was Beyoncé,” one person wrote on X. Someone else said, “Bey go ahead and file the suit for reckless impersonation.” Another commenter even referenced Beyoncé’s former alter ego, Sasha Fierce, writing, “I Am Sasha False.”
“You’re telling me that’s not Beyoncé?” another person questioned. Someone else joked, “Billboard so misleading even her own kids wouldn’t recognize her. ‘Mommy, why do you look like Auntie Beyoncé today?'”
People insisted that the photo didn’t look like Khloé.

OK, so maybe it’s not Beyoncé. But many critics still felt like the photo, while beautiful, didn’t look like Khloé. Someone shared an old photo of her from years ago. Comparing it to the photo on the billboard, they wrote, “This is not the same person.”
To be fair, Khloé doesn’t look the same as she once did. In the comments, some people blamed this on cosmetic procedures that make everyone look like they have “the exact same face.” In the past, Khloé has also been accused of editing her photos quite a bit. Last year, when Khloé started promoting her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, critics said the photos of her didn’t even look “human.”
At the time, one critic wrote, “They showed the actual edited cover they selected and I almost spat my water out. How can anyone approve that? It doesn’t even look like her.”
Khloé once vowed to stop editing her photos so much.
After several “Photoshop fails” that people called her out for, Khloé admitted that even she saw some of her previous photo edits as excessive. In July 2025, she said, “There was a time that I was around some people that would make me feel like I needed to. I also think it was the era too.” According to her, “a lot of people were Photoshopping or heavily Photoshopping more than they do now,” and she “just got consumed in this filter lifestyle,” as many other people did.
Looking back at some of her old photos felt “humiliating” to her. So, she started to change her ways, she said. “I really had to reprogram my mind to be like, okay, we have to lay off the filters,” she explained. “This isn’t real. That’s not how I look. And I don’t want to look like that. It was a strange time.”
