King Charles’ Staff Can’t Find Enough Volunteers To Ring Church Bells For His Coronation

The "Ring for the King" campaign has pushed for every church bell in the country to ring on the day of King Charles III’s coronation in May. However, this initiative looks unlikely to succeed without a flood of new volunteers.

According to Celebitchy, with only 300 inquiries so far, the campaign needs another 8,000 recruits to succeed. The campaign is urgently seeking volunteer ringers to meet the goal of ringing the nation’s 38,000 church bells on May 6.

There are 6,000 sets of bells across Britain, containing almost 38,000 bells, which require one ringer per bell. Anyone from the age of 8 and above could get involved in bell ringing.
