It’s no secret that Kourtney Kardashian is madly in love with her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. The couple doesn’t shy away from packing on the PDA wherever they may be. But recently, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker held hands while running a 5K race ā and critics mercilessly roasted them for it.
Kourt and Travis started dating in 2021 after years of friendship. In October that year, they got engaged before legally saying “I do” in May 2022. Today, Kourtney and Travis have a blended family consisting of her three kids with her ex, Scott Disick, his three kids with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, and their son, Rocky.

In February, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker ran a 5K together.
Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Kourtney and Travis participated in one of his Run Travis Run 5K races in New Orleans. A video of the couple finishing the February 7 run while holding hands caught the attention of fans. And many were left thinking the same thing.
Critics roasted the couple for holding hands during the race.
In the comments of a clip shared by People, Instagram users roasted Kourtney and Travis for holding hands while running.
One person wrote, “Why are they holding hands…..seriously, just running next to each other isn’t enough?!?!”
Another wondered, “Did they hold hands the whole way? š.”
Meanwhile, someone else declared, “No one runs holding hands.
Others doubted they ran the entire 3.1 miles.
Still, other Instagram users weren’t convinced that Travis and Kourtney actually ran the 3.1-mile race.
One person commented, “I have never seen anything more staged than this. Whatever it was.”
A different Instagram user wrote, “Right š neither are even out of breath and the hand holding š¤£. These two give me the absolute ick.”
Yet another critic pointed out, “Nope they arenāt even out of breath.”

After the race, Travis spoke about the experience.
āI asked her, I said, ‘Do you want me to keep pulling you?’ And she said yes, so I could kind of keep her going,ā Travis told People of the 5K event in Louisiana. āOur hands were really sweaty and yeah, it was great.ā
The 5K raised money for the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
Holding hands while running aside, Travis’ Run Travis Run 5K in New Orleans raised money for an important cause.
“Every dollar raised will support the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, helping them battle wildfires and protect Travis Barker’s hometown of Los Angeles,” an Instagram post announced ahead of the race.
Perhaps, folks online will keep this in mind the next time they criticize Kourtney and Travis for harmless PDA during a 5K.
