La Toya Jackson’s recent posts have left fans concerned about her wellbeing. The 69-year-old singer recently indicated that she could be facing some health challenges. On November 7, La Toya shared a video letting her followers know that she was at a doctor’s office, but she didn’t share details about why she was there. Then, a few days later, she revealed that she was seeing a doctor again. Given that people were already worried about her health, fans grew even more concerned when she shared a series of photos on December 1.
In the photos, she looked very thin.
She wore a red top and black pants in the series of photos and captioned the post with, “Happy Monday guys! Wishing you all a fabulous week! Stay safe, healthy and much love to you all!😘” In the comments, people made it clear that they were really worried about her. Though lots of fans were genuinely concerned about her health, some of the comments came across as judgmental, leading others to accuse them of “bullying” La Toya and making assumptions about what’s going on with her.
Many of the judgmental comments were about how thin she looks. Some people alluded to disordered eating, telling the singer to “have a snack” and accusing her of skipping meals. But others pointed out that they’re not sure what, if anything, is going on with La Toya right now.
“people be kind & loving you never know what people are goin through,” one person in the comments urged. Others wanted La Toya to know that they support her. “I’ll never understand bullying random ppl on the internet!!” one person wrote. “Celebrities have feelings too and you do not know them💯y’all have no idea what’s going on in this woman’s life! I’m honestly so sorry for all the harsh words, and I pray they never affect you.”
La Toya shared a follow-up post.
On December 5, La Toya seemed to acknowledge her fans’ concerns, in a way. Though she did not address them directly, she shared a positive message with her followers. “I hear you, I see you, I send you love and I wish to say! 💕
Enjoy your weekend with all positivity!😘” she captioned the post.
Fans flocked to the comments to express their love. “You’re an icon Latoya! Don’t let any of these comments get to you!” one person wrote back.
These posts come less than a month after La Toya’s doctor’s visit videos. In the video shared on November 7, La Toya said, “Hi guys, I hope everyone’s doing well. I’m here at the doctor again, so I’m hoping that everything goes well with me, all results are good, and I hope you guys have a great day.”
Then, on November 10, she shared another cryptic post about a doctor’s visit. “Guess where I am on this Monday morning? You guessed, that place again,” she said. “Constantly getting check-ups. Oh well. Have a great week, guys.” La Toya didn’t share why she was spending so much time at the doctor’s office, and fans were understandably worried.
In a comment on November 13, she addressed her fans’ concerns with, “I thank you for your well wishes, and concerns! I’m doing just well! Much love to you all and again, I thank you for your concerns. Sending much love, health and happiness to all!❤️”
