Leonardo DiCaprio Allegedly Left A Party Early Once Because He Was Jealous Of JFK Jr.

John F. Kennedy Jr. was so attractive to women that he forced a jealous Leonardo DiCaprio to leave a party early, according to a new book JFK Jr: An Intimate Oral Biography.

RoseMarie Terenzio, who wrote the book with People magazine’s Liz McNeil, was John-John’s personal assistant, publicist, and close confidante during the last five years of his life, before he crashed a private plane into the Atlantic with his wife, Carolyn Bessette.

Terenzio, who unveiled the book at the East Hampton Library Authors Night, told me that the 1998 premiere party of Woody Allen’s Celebrity, starring DiCaprio, was held at the SoHo loft owned by a friend of Kennedy's.

“Leo was swamped by fans when John walked in,” Terenzio said. “Suddenly the crowd shifted to the other side of the room. Leo said, ‘What happened?’”

When told that Kennedy had arrived, DiCaprio said, “Oh forget it. Let’s go.”

Terenzio said, “That was the end of Leo for the night.”

The book also tells how Julianne Phillips, after splitting with Bruce Springsteen, somehow got Kennedy’s phone number.

According to John’s close friend Sasha Chermayeff, Phillips left sexy messages saying “I want to meet you, John …” and “Why haven’t you called me back, you bad boy.”

Sasha said, “You end it with the biggest rock and roll star in the world and then seconds later, you’re leaving messages on his voicemail, ‘Bad John, naughty John’ — that’s how it was for him.”

The Olympics in Paris drew huge ratings and made stars out of our athletes with average ratings of 35 million viewers — way bigger than the Tokyo Olympics, which went on without a live audience because of COVID-19.

Names like Simone Biles, Gabby Thomas, and Katie Ledecky are burned into our collective memory.

Biles wrapped up her historic gold wins by partying Sunday night at L’Arc nightclub in Paris. The next day she posted on her Instagram story, “The reason I am unwell this morning.”

Also seen partying Sunday night was Noah Lyles, who tested positive for COVID-19 a couple of days before winning gold and bronze medals for his sprints.

Angel Salazar, who swam out of Cuba as a teenager to act in Scarface with Al Pacino, liked to pretend he was a big cocaine user for laughs.

Salazar, who died on August 18 at 68, was at the Hustler Club for the birthday party of movie producer Noel Ashman last month when he pulled out a giant bag of white powder.

“Security saw it and jumped on him. He said, ‘It’s fake. Taste it,’” said Ashman, who partied on with Salazar until 9 a.m.

“He was a hugely talented actor/comedian who brought joy to millions of people.”

Brigitte Bardot, whose famous films include And God Created Woman, was spotted outside her house in St. Tropez, France, last week with pink flowers in her iconic updo.

By her side was her husband of 32 years, Bernard d’Ormale, 83, a French businessman and political advisor. The couple met in the early 1990s and unlike her first three marriages, stayed private.

The 1960s sex kitten, still boho chic at 89, has said she has slept with over 100 men and women, and was married at age 18 to director Roger Vadim, who went on later to tie the knot with the actress Jane Fonda.

Bardot claimed Vadim coaxed her into threesomes with other women in her autobiography My Life So Far in 2012.

Also in St. Tropez were Jared Leto, in red tiger print pajamas, and Orlando Bloom and his wife, Katy Perry, who were all lunching at Club 55 at separate tables along with Kimberly Paige Bluhm, wife of casino and real estate billionaire Neil Bluhm.

Halle Berry has her hands full trying to deal with her ex-husband, actor Olivier Martinez, who originally gained fame in the 2002 film Unfaithful with Diane Lane.

He went on to make Dark Tide with Berry in 2012, The lovers were engaged and married that year and divorced in 2016.

The ex-couple’s problems currently revolve around their 10-year-old son, Maceo. The parents share legal custody of the boy. However, this week, Berry filed for sole legal and physical custody of Maceo, according to TMZ, arguing Martinez will not address their son’s behavioral and learning difficulties.

Top divorce lawyer Martha Cohen Stine told me, “Berry and Martinez are supposed to make important decisions about Maceo together. But Berry claims in court papers that Martinez has been making unilateral decisions regarding Maceo’s education and extracurricular activities, without her prior knowledge or consent.”

Another problem is that Berry has a boyfriend, singer Van Hunt, who has become close to Maceo, Stine said.

“It would come as no surprise to me if Martinez is threatened by Berry’s new man and his relationship with his son. This is why Berry wants Martinez to attend co-parenting therapy sessions.”
