Marjorie Taylor Green Says Politicians ‘Kissing Trump’s A–‘ Actually Make Fun Of Him

After her falling out with President Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene is spilling the tea. The Georgia lawmaker did not hold back during her recent 60 Minutes interview, and unsurprisingly, Trump did not seem happy about what she said. Once a Trump loyalist, Greene broke from the president and her party on several different issues before announcing her decision to resign from Congress.

She may be one of the few Republicans who has stood up to Trump, but that doesn’t mean the other Republicans all love the president. According to Greene, though other politicians in Trump’s orbit act like they adore him in public, they’ve said some pretty unfavorable things about him when he’s not around.

Many of the Republicans would make fun of Trump, she claimed.

Prior to their feud, Greene was one of Trump’s most vocal supporters. And though a lot of other Republicans seem to be “kissing his a–” now, it might be because they’re scared of him, Greene suggested. According to her, the way they’ve talked about Trump behind his back is different from how they’re acting publicly.

Speaking to CBS News correspondent Lesley Stahl, Greene said, “I watched many of my colleagues go from making fun of him, making fun of how he talks, making fun of me constantly for supporting him, to when he won the primary in 2024, they all started — excuse my language, Lesley — kissing his a– and decided to put on a MAGA hat for the first time.”

Some of this is probably because they don’t want to be the subject of one of Trump’s social media rants, Greene explained. “I think they’re terrified to step out of line and get a nasty Truth Social post on them, yes,” she said.

And that’s exactly what has happened to Greene.

Even after seeing Greene’s 60 Minutes interview, Trump proved her point by taking to Truth Social to insult her again. In a lengthy Truth Social rant, the president called Greene “a very dumb person” and referred to her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown.”

“The only reason Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!),” Trump wrote. “Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD – She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple!”

In the same post, Trump also went off on a tangent about 60 Minutes itself. “Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person,” Trump continued. “That was proven last night when washed up, Trump hating, 60 Minutes “correspondent,” Lesley Stahl, who still owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show (with serious conviction!), that Hunter Biden’s LAPTOP FROM HELL was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself (TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG!), interviewed a very poorly prepared Traitor, who in her confusion made many really stupid statements.”

Though he started the post by complaining about Greene (whom he also called a “low IQ traitor”), by the end of it, he decided that his “real problem” is “that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air.”

He also asserted that the show and the journalist should apologize to him “for her incorrect and Libelous statements about Hunter’s Laptop!!!” Priorities, right?

After Trump criticized her, Greene said she feels bad for him.

Because it must be hard to be “so hateful.” During a CNN interview on Tuesday, December 9, Greene said, “I feel very sorry for President Trump. I genuinely do. It has to be a hard place for someone that is constantly so hateful and puts so much vitriol, name-calling and really tells lies about people in order to try to get his way or win some kind of fight.” Oof.
