Marjorie Taylor Greene Joined Cameo To Make Videos For Supporters, But People Are Asking Why

For most celebrities, once they’ve hit the point of joining Cameo, it’s like their career has hit a different stage. And for politicians? That remains to be seen, but Marjorie Taylor Greene is now officially on Cameo, and her haters have some ideas about what that signifies for her career. Especially after she left her role as a congresswoman for Georgia.

The app has become increasingly popular and allows supporters and even haters to pay for a personalized video from their favorite celebrities and in this case, politicians. Or former politicians, however you want to look at Greene. She announced her presence on the app in a TikTok video that was then shared on X.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Cameo is a surprise to many.

@mtg3386 Everyone has been telling me to get on Cameo, so I just joined! Do you have a special message that you would like me to deliver?🎉 Birthday, anniversary, baby on the way, or something else, go to my link in my bio and I’ll be your messenger! #cameo #foryoupage #fyp #MarjorieTaylorGreene ♬ original sound – MTG

Toward the end of her time as a congresswoman, Greene made headlines for her very vocal criticisms of Donald Trump. Which, for a Republican congresswoman who once supported Trump, was a huge deal. She eventually willingly resigned from her position, but apparently, that didn’t mean that Greene had any intention of leaving the spotlight, as it were.

In her video about joining Cameo, she says, “Hi everyone, this is Marjorie Taylor Greene, and I am excited to let you know that I am now on Cameo. So if you have a special message for a friend or a loved one, I would love to deliver it for you. Or any other message for anyone.”

She then instructs her viewers to “click on the link” to head to her official Cameo account, where people can pay a minimum of $164 for a short personalized video. Under the X post with the shared video of Greene’s Cameo announcement, one person wrote, “I’m guessing people buy Cameos from her as a joke and to irritate their enemies.”

Another commented, “Oh ya, I’m sure people are lining up to have her record a video for them. The narcissism and ego of these people never seem to disappoint.”

Her Cameo reviews are a bit mixed.

Although Greene’s Cameo account was new at the time of the X post, she already had some reviews from satisfied (and not-so-satisfied) customers. One anonymous user left a one-star review, but no explanation. Maybe they were just willing to pay that $164 price to be able to leave her one star and potentially bring down her rating.

Other users left reviews praising the former congresswoman for her “heartfelt” message and her “class act” mentality. But that doesn’t mean people aren’t still confused about why Greene even has a Cameo to begin with. Someone even joked in the comments under Greene’s TikTok that she is now “trying to make ends meet” since she left Congress.

She offers pricey personalized business videos too.

While some might see Greene’s personalized videos are relatively affordable, she also offers pricier options for businesses that want an official video recorded by her for the benefit of the company or organization. For those, however, users will need to shell out a bit more cash. According to Greene’s pricing model on her Cameo, it costs a minimum of $5,000.

With that purchase, users get, per the description on Greene’s account, a “selfie style video within 7 days” and “15 day license for marketing & event use.” After that, they’ll have to pay more to get another short-term use video from Greene gassing up whatever business they have.
