Weddings take so much planning but go by so fast. Pictures can help capture the fleeting moments that make up the important day. Organizing these photos into an album to look back on the day is a lovely gift. One mother of the bride could not wait to do this for her daughter.
Unfortunately in all her enthusiasm, Dr. Sherry Noblett forgot to do one important thing. She designed the Shutterfly album’s layout perfectly but did not change the auto-generated captions. The result is hilarious and the bride Nicole Hunt shared them on TikTok.
“My mom had hyped up this book so much,” Nicole explained. “She was like, ‘Make sure no one else does a book because I want to give it to ya’ll.’ When it finally shipped, she was so excited.”
Nicole shared a video of the book. On one page, the groom, Daniel, is pictured with his groomsmen. The caption reads: “She managed to hold onto that bubble for over a minute before it burst.”

Another page features Nicole solo in her wedding gown. She looks stunning. It is captioned: “We had a picnic, then walked around the park collecting pretty leaves.”
Thankfully, the whole family can laugh about the situation. Nicole, her sister Christina, and Sherry can all be seen laughing about it on TikTok.
“When she gave me the book, she was bright red, and she goes, ‘I think I may have messed up a little bit,’” Nicole recalled.
Nicole calls the album her favorite wedding present ever. Many users on TikTok related to Sherry’s mistake. They added their own in the comment section.
“I forgot to change the caption on my shutterfly holiday cards (from the year we got married) so everyone got cards from a Megan and Blake," one user admitted.
“I forgot to change the caption on our first dance page and it says 'Marvin swept me out onto the floor' my husband is Colby,” confessed another.
Sherry isn’t the most technically savvy person, according to Nicole. She struggles with “boomer generation stuff” but her heart is in the right place. “A couple of months ago, she was talking about how her phone was running really slowly,” Nicole recalled. “I opened her Safari and she had 486 tabs open.”
Sherry also has a track record of messing up Shutterfly orders. “Every year there’s an issue with her Christmas card,” Nicole explained. “Usually it’s small, like typos and stuff. But there’s an ongoing joke that she can never get it right with Shutterfly.”
Thankfully, there is a happy ending this time around. Shutterfly has credited her account so she can order another book with the proper captions this time around. Nicole loves the original so much she may never touch the corrected version.
