Monica Bellucci is finally coming clean about her relationship with director Tim Burton. She spoke to Elle France, confirming its status and gushing about her man. Tim is also directing her in the upcoming film Beetlejuice 2, making them both lovers and coworkers.
“What I can say … I’m glad I met the man, first of all,” Monica stated. “It's one of those encounters that rarely happens in life … I know the man, I love him, and now I'm going to meet the director, another adventure begins."
Monica and Tom first met at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006. In 2022, Monica presented Tim with a lifetime achievement award at the Lumière Film Festival. Sparks must have flown because they were soon seen out on the town together looking quite cozy. They were spotted in Madrid and Paris, which is why no one is really surprised by this announcement.

Monica is excited to work with Tim. "I love Tim," Monica explained. “And I have great respect for Tim Burton. I love this dream world where the monsters are kind, like we can turn our darker aspects into something bright, forgiving. Tim Burton's films talk about that a lot."
